Job Summary
The primary role of the Food Safety Analyst will be reviewing assessment reports and working with individual locations to verify and correct any deficiencies noted. Additionally, the person in this role will analyze the data from the assessments and create actionable reporting for the Food Safety Managers for follow-up. This role will also have responsibilities for unit and supplier facing incident investigations.
Responsibilities:
* Identify trends and opportunities for improvement through analysis of complex datasets
* Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
* Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and suggest solutions
* Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
Qualifications:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must for this position.
* The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, can work independently and proactively identify problems and provide solutions
* Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Food Safety, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
* Minimum of 2-3 years in an analytical role within the hospitality, culinary, or food safety sectors.
* Experience with and strong knowledge of Food Safety relating to contract dining
* Analytical experience preferred
* CP-FS credential or the ability to sit for the CP-FS exam provided by NEHA
* Ability to easily navigate and adapt to various computer software and programs.
* Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
