Department Summary

The Department of the History of Art & Architecture ("HAA") offers undergraduate, Master's, and PhD programs in the history, theory, and criticism of art, architecture, and visual culture. It is also home to the Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies.

Position Summary

The Department of the History of Art & Architecture (HAA) invites applicants for temporary, part-time, limited duration research positions in HAA. Duties typically are based on grant-funded project-specific needs, and may include: project coordination, translation, interviews, data collection and/or analysis.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience and a commitment to working effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds. We invite applications from qualified candidates who share our commitment to diversity and from members of underrepresented groups.

Minimum Requirements

* Masters degree in Art and/or Architectural History or other related field

* OR-

* Bachelor's degree in Art and/or Architectural History or other related field AND two years of relevant experience may be substituted as appropriate

Professional Competencies

* Project management skills

* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in relevant subject material

Preferred Qualifications

* Graduate-level instructional experience

* PhD in Art and/or Architectural History or other related field; ABD may also be considered
