Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is responsible for oversight of the daily operations and of personnel at the Cardiovascular Imagining Center (CVIE) a campus of Del Sol Medical Center. This position provides direct patient care and collaborates with other members of the health care delivery team to deliver quality patient care, including assisting in procedures. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the Clinical Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the department. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator also collaborates with the Administrative Director regarding budgetary and strategic planning opportunities for improvement. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will assist the Administrative Director in providing nursing leadership to the unit and overseeing the clinical operations of the departments. Core Competencies will be assessed in accordance to the units’ specific patient population served.

What qualifications you will need:

REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS

1. Basic Cardiac Life Support.

2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

3. Registered Nurse

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

1. Minimum of 5 years experience in specialty.

2. Supervisory experience.

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

1. Bachelor Degree in related field.

1. Stress Lab experience.
