*Position Summary & Responsibilities*
*The Library Assistant has primary responsibility for scheduling inmate research and typing appointments for the use of legal reference collection. The Library Assistant also monitors the use of legal research room and legal collection for inmates. Maintains necessary records for monthly reports, assists in completing necessary correspondence, memos, requisitions, etc. Performs reference and research services, guides patrons in finding and using library resources.*

*_Minimum Qualifications: _**_One year of experience in library work or administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency._*
